Childbirth Education

As a Midwife and Lamaze-trained childbirth educator with over 10 years of experience teaching group and individual classes, I, The Pioneer Midwife, have intentionally focused my work in midwifery to center on family education. This is one the aspects outside of the birth space that is often forgotten about. At Pioneer Women's Health & Maternity Service, I offer comprehensive childbirth education classes that not only prepare expectant parents for what to expect during childbirth, but also arms them with the knowledge they need to participate in shared decision-making regarding their child's entry into the world. Who better to learn with than a midwife herself. 

Pioneer Midwifery Traditional Childbirth Education Series:

This is a virtual class offering composed of four weekly sessions. This option is ideal for those who are beginning early in their pregnancy and who want shorter overall meeting times. Each session is approximately 1.5 hours, providing a total of 6 hours of education, and the cost is $295.

Pioneer Midwifery Express Childbirth Education Crash Course:

This virtual course condenses the information contained within the traditional series into two weekly class sessions. This option is designed for those who may be further along in their pregnancy or seeking to receive this education at an accelerated pace. Each session is approximately 2.5 hours, providing a total of 5 hours of education, and the cost is $275.

Customized singular childbirth education visit:

This option allows you to have me focus on all of the topics and content that you are most curious about and interested in. These virtual visits are 1.5 hrs. in length and may be a great option for those looking for a refresher or those seeking a very specific focus. Each session costs $200.

Singular in-person visit:

A comprehensive childbirth education, in-person visit lasts approximately three hours, and the cost is $275 per visit.
