Lactation Education

At Pioneer Women's Health & Maternity Service, I, The Pioneer Midwife, am proud to offer lactation education services that are rooted in years of experience and certification as an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I have spent thousands of hours assisting families in their breastfeeding journeys, working with children as young as one day old, in addition to those choosing to continue breastfeeding throughout toddlerhood. My certification and experience of working with families during the prenatal and postpartum periods, combined with my extensive experience in adult education, set me apart. Your lactation services, will be personalized and tailored to your unique needs and circumstances. As an IBCLC with years of experience, I am uniquely qualified to provide families with the guidance, strategies, and proven methods needed to ensure a successful and fulfilling breastfeeding journey. Pioneer Midwifery Concierge Services:

Here I provide you & family with individualized childbirth education or lactation in-person services, within the comfort of your home. This service is ideal for birthing families who want one-on-one, curated education and/or who require hands-on or lactation assistance. Pump fitting and set-up are included with lactation services, and evening and weekend visits are available. 

Singular in person visit:

Each lactation visit lasts approximately 1.5 hours, and the cost is $200 per visit for one baby and $265 per visit for twins or tandem nursing parents.

The Pioneer Midwife, Breastfeeding Education Virtual Class:

This is comprised of two weekly sessions that provide education on the basics of breastfeeding. This class is ideal for anyone interested in preparing for their breastfeeding journey or learning how to combat common pitfalls faced in the immediate days and weeks after birth. Each session lasts approximately 1.5 hours, providing a total of three hours of education, and the cost is $150.
